Cowboys Replace Coach

Well vatos, he finally did it, most thought it could happen but especially from what we have seen recently. That thought had become distant. Jerry Jones has named himself head coach for the 2015 season.  Jerry was quoted as saying at the official announcement “Yea I am the new head coach and if anyone does not like it they can kiss my Razorback ***. In a couple of equally shocking moves he named his Grandson Spalding who is not yet 21 as the new GM.  To replace him, he fired his son Stephen as Vice President and replaced him with “ My son in law that cleans my glasses” he was quoted as saying.

Ok now, as much no one really wants to hear that news.  You have to admit it would be kinda funny and all the sports talking heads would go crazy with that news. However the hardcore Cowboy Fan might go crazy and go after Jones. I can see the Headlines Now: Jerry Jones has barricaded himself up at AT&T Stadium as an angry mob gathers outside. Jerry was heard to have said “It’s just like the Alamo! But not really.

Fun stuff but alas it the offensive line coach we are reporting on here.  Frank Pollack is the new O-Line coach replacing Bill Callahan. Now of course it does make some fans out there a little uneasy as it can be said the O-line is the best weapon we have. And it is through them that the offense works. If that is you, I say relax Frank has been working with line for 2 years as the assistant line coach. In fact some say he must share in the credit for their outstanding progress and success. I am more concerned about who is going to run behind that line. And while I am talking offense as of today 6/5/15 still no Dez contract, 10 more days and if no contract, it will be franchise tag for Dez. I say pay him his 18 mil. He is arguably the best receiver in the NFL. And folks, a receiver like Dez does not show up in the draft every year and if you wanted to trade for a receiver of his caliber it would cost you even more.

Now on the defensive side of the ball it appears we have another Cowboy that will be out for some games at start of season. The league recently announced that Rolando McClain would be suspended for the first 4 games of the season. Reason violating the substance abuse policy again, it will cost him $375,000 .That’s a lot of D*money.  For his sake I hope it was worth it. At the linebacker position it appears that Kyle Wilson and Anthony Hitchens will be competing for the starting position. I really do not see as a big difference between the two, as both will play in different packages either way, as starter or not. And Sean Lee is better in the flex, of course when he’s not hurt.

There is a lot more to say here but will wait till start of training camp on July 28th when I will be filing a weekly camp report, till then Adios Amigo.
