Free Will and Wealth Accumulation

Free Will and Wealth Accumulation

During our lifetime there are three things that we have which are very valuable. They are: health, time, and Free Will. Two of those counter each other. If you don’t have health then you don’t have much time. The one thing that you do have for whatever time you have is Free Will.

Free Will is what forms you. It is what creates the character of whom and what you are. It is what God has given you so that you will decide on your own to show your love for him.  Because of it we can make ourselves worthy of the next life with God in Heaven forever.  Free Will allows us to determine our own futures.

Let us say your life is one big computer program and the choices that you make are the variables used to write that computer program.  All God has to do is run your computer program of life and you pop out, good or bad, it will always equal you. Of all the choices that you have the one most important choice is the “Love ” variable. That one creates the best equations for your life’s computer program.

Many give up their Free Will when they let themselves have uncontrollable desires of things not good for the soul or the body. Those desires take over and your Free Will goes into the “got to have it mode”. You are now a slave to those desires.

We most often use a lot of our Free Will to do things that enable us to accumulate wealth and be able to get stuff. We believe that we have to have more and more stuff so that we can look successful or to win the game of having more toys than everyone else.  Well guess?  When we die all that stuff which represents your wealth is left behind.   The only real wealth that is good for you is the wealth you have accumulated in Heaven.

So how do you accumulate wealth in Heaven?  Well I’m glad you asked.  First you need to have the right tools which include:  the knowledge of God’s word found in the Bible, you have to be in communication with God thru prayer, and you have to be able to humble yourself to do good for God.   That will include showing love for your neighbors which also includes the bad ones too.

Free Will and time go together. God only gives you a certain amount of time. Once time has passed that’s it you can’t get it back.  How you use the time you have here on earth is totally up to you.  You have been given the brains in your head and a Free Will to make those decisions.

Remember God works thru you. When you see a person in need and you help that person it is God working to help someone thru you. When we lovingly give up some of our time to do good for God, when we pray, attend and participate in Mass, it is like giving God a gift.  Those gifts accumulate as wealth in Heaven and that my friends, is the kind of wealth we should all want to accumulate.

Peace be with you all,
