Waves of Faith

What does WORSHIP mean? I had to ask myself this question when I decided to attend Wave of Faith again. I found myself in a situation where I earnestly felt the desire to serve GOD.   You might ask yourself “What does that mean?” You may even provoke to say, “IF GOD is all knowing and all powerful, why would he need me to serve him?” The truth is that GOD doesn’t need you to serve HIM. God loves you and so he sent his one and only son who had no sins to die for you. So I found myself returning to Waves of Faith. WHY? The person who visits many churches, congregations, has many associates from so many different organizations. WHY WAVES? Well I would have to tell you about our leadership. Servant leadership is a title I was not familiar with till I came to Waves of Faith. Yes, Waves is a place where you can hear a contemporary band play music that is easy to relate to, sing with, and even lift your hands should you desire. But it’s also much more.Waves of Faith showed me by true examples of servant leadership, how to worship God with your life inside the church or outside the church. There is much more to the word WORSHIP than we picture in simply singing a song to God. To worship God means to have a deep heartfelt desire to have a true life changing experience with Jesus. Building a relationship with Jesus in your everyday life is the true meaning of worship. Your actions whether it is inside or outside of a building is a demonstration of who or what you worship, becoming a representation and reflection of who Christ is takes time and dedication spent with him in prayer, in communion with the body of Christ, and in spending time in the word of God. You see David knew what it means to worship God. He ran through the streets worshiping in song and dance. Though he was loved, he was also criticized for his LOVE FOR GOD. So I would like to encourage you to find a church family to connect with. Become part of the body of Christ. The word of God says there are many parts of the body, and every part is important. Come by and visit us at Waves of Faith, where you are likely to receive a warm handshake, hug or meet a new friend. Drop in for an experience with Pastor Rey, his wife Nelly, and the Waves family.  We have two identical services at
