Tony Romo

Antonio Ramiro Romo, AKA Tony Romo, ended the day with a 138.8 QB rating best of the season throwing for 246 yards and 3 touchdowns. The offensive line did a great job of keeping Romo’s uniform clean and creating holes for runners.

The big question all fans had after the 3rd quarter was “When are they taking Romo, DeMarco and Dez out?”  With the game solidly in hand by the 4th quarter it was a simple question of reward vs risk, the answer was simple “Get them the H*** out of there!”  Luckily none of the new, dare I call them the “new” triplets were hurt by staying longer than needed.  DeMarco rushed for 100 yards on 19 carries, Dez pulled in six catches for 158 yards with two Touchdowns.  What continues to impress is his YAC, Yards after Catches.  The offense had a complete game, they and we the fans needed to see that again from them.

The defense also played very well and had four sacks and I am not sure how many hurries, it was a kind of bend but don’t break defense today.  Perhaps having his biggest day as a pro in his hometown Jack Crawford and likely the only BB (Black Brit) in the NFL had a good and a nice sack to go with it.  I will also give both the defensive and offensive coach’s credit for calling a good game.  As for the head coach, Garrett, outside of keeping Romo in too long he did a good job of managing the team under more than ordinary circumstances playing across the pond (England) and coming off a two game losing streak.  As for playoff talk, it may be safe to restart it again!  Or, as Jerry likes to say – Go Cowboys!!!!!!!
