Religion and Government

Again the government moves toward getting religion out of the government.  When this country was first established by our English brothers and sisters who stepped off a boat on to a rock named Plymouth and then on to dry land known as the New World. They began a new country that based on religious freedom. They left England because they were not allowed to worship God in the way they believed they should be worshiping him.  This reveals all how the free will God has given us works in religion.  Everybody believes in something and they all believe that what they believe is true and some are willing to die for their belief.

Here is where our Government comes into play. When you have a society as diverse as ours here in the United States of America, the government must be able to rule in a way that treats everyone as equal and at the same time not tell us how we are to worship.  It is a right that our country has always followed.

Those of us Christians that are upset about last month Supreme Court ruling need to look at that ruling with that in mind and think about this. The United States of America has attracted people from every part of the world. Just about every nationality from the all over the world has come to live here. It is like God is creating another Noah’s Ark here in the US. We already have just about every animal in the world due to our great zoos. We now also have a sample of just about every culture in the world. What a great opportunity to do God’s work.

God loves all peoples, they are his creations. True we all look different on the outside but on the inside our souls all look alike. The flesh, our present body, is the temporary temple of our souls.  Those souls are allowed to have a free will in order that they may make decisions that will allow them to come to God on their own. God does not force us to love him. He wants us to come to him freely because we want to

So the message I want to shout out in this month’ article is “Go Forth and Evangelize!” God has brought all his creations onto this new Noah’s Ark. They are from every part of the world. We as Christians have a duty to tell everyone about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They need to know that he loves them and wants them to be with him in eternity.

 WE are God’s mouth piece. The only way people will learn about our God, the true God, is by us telling them about him and showing them by example how good Christian act and live.  

Just like the rock God provided the pilgrims when stepping on to the new world our Christian beliefs stand firm. God’s word is written in the Bible. The Catholic Church which has stood firm as the Rock of Christianity  will continue to stand firm in this new age of religious freedom. It has all the information people need in order to be saved.

Happy are those we have found and believe. Therefore all believers go out and spread the word to all who are willing to listen.  It is your right as an American and duty as a Christian. That folks is what I believe!
